I Am The Tontie Master

I finally broke through the 20th level of Tontie - It's a simple game but it's good to fill in a spare few minutes here and there.

Non-Admin Wiki and RikWik Goomburra

by admin 7. March 2005 22:33

Just a quick link - the non-admin wiki (http://nonadmin.editme.com/) has some useful stuff for running (and developing) as a non-admin. I still wish there was an easier way to get an administrator instance of explorer running. Currently I use runas to fire up Internet Explorer and then browse locally.

In other news, I'm almost ready to deploy a new version of RikWik. The new version is almost a complete rewrite (or at least I started a new solution and ported the old code bit by bit while adjusting). It has made some considerable improvements which really makes it stand out architecturally from other wiki implementations. For a bit of fun I've decided to start codenaming my projects - so stay tuned for when www.rikware.com starts running RikWik: Goomburra. Special points to the first person to correctly identify where I got the name fromentries not accepted from people who I've already told.

Homage to Kent

In homage to the Microsoft bound Simon Kent I thought I'd throw up my first pointless "Stuff o' the Web" entry - More flash games from http://www.makaimedia.com/games/

Want to discover some new bushwalking ideas? Share a few of your own? Aussie Bushwalking is like Wikipedia... but for bushwalkers. Head on over. Anybody can see the walks and it's free to sign up and share your own.

RikMigrations is a database migration library for .NET based on the migrations facility provided by Ruby on Rails. It allows simple upgrading and downgrading of databases using .NET code (such as VB or C#) either from the command line or built into your application. Unlike many other migration frameworks, RikMigrations is a stand-alone library which does not rely on a large surrounding framework.
